You will be studying the world of business i.e. how businesses operate, what makes them successful and what you need to know to run a business.  You will learn about establishment, operation and management of business.

LEGAL STUDIES

Category A
This course will be of great value to students who wish to pursue careers in law, business, commerce, the media and social welfare in particular. 

MODERN HISTORY

Category A
The Preliminary Course investigates groups, events, institutions, societies and ideas in a range of historical contexts, as a background for their more specialized HSC studies.

BUSINESS SERVICES

Category B
Students concentrate on developing a range of skills required to work effectively and safely in a modern office environment. 

MARINE STUDIES

Board Endorsed Course
This course is designed as an introduction to Marine Science and is a useful background for a number of Post-School courses as well as careers in Marine Related Industries. 

GEOGRAPHY

Category A
Geography students look at some of the major social and environmental issues facing the planet such as logging, environments at risk, the Global Population explosion, urban pollution/crime etc.  A major research project will be undertaken in Year 11.

SOCIETY AND CULTURE

Category A
Society and Culture is an interactive and challenging subject that engages students both intellectually and emotionally.

ABORIGINAL LANGUAGES

Board Endorsed Course
The Aboriginal Languages course will provide students with the opportunity to learn and communicate in the Gumbaynggirr language.
